German successes in Trnava
Here are some results from the WDSF tournaments in Trnava (Slovakia), as far as they are known: At the Senior II Standard tournament, Dr. Günther and Antje Nagel finished second, Gordan Bedenikovic / Susanne Krieger took the sixth place. At the Senior III Standard tournament the gold medal went to Franz-Peter and Cornelia Schwindling.

For the second time in a row, Marius-Andrei Balan / Nina Bezzubova (Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim) won the WDSF World Open Latin tournament, thus relegating Armen Tsaturian / Svetlana Gudyna from Russia to second place. Victory in Rimini
Stefan Leschke/Leila Kessler won their first World Ranking List tournament in the Senior I Latin section. In the Youth Latin section, Karols Arturs Junelis/Kristina Kretz reached the final and were ranked on the fifth place. At the WDSF World Open Latin tournament, Marius Iepure/Otlile Mabuse reached the semi final and finished ninth out of 82 couples.

Ivo Lodesani/Cathrin Hissnauer were the only German couple taking part in the World Open Standard tournament in Uzhgorod (Ukraine). They were runner-up to the final and finished seventh of 41 couples, mostly from Eastern Europe.
